Personal information may include contact details, client information, care needs, health-related information, support preferences, risk information, service records, feedback, complaints, incident information and other information relevant to service delivery.

Qarah Care takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Personal information is handled confidentially and is only used or shared where permitted by law, required for service delivery, required for safety reasons, required with consent, or required to meet legal, regulatory, aged care quality and safety, or provider obligations.

Where Qarah Care provides services in collaboration with registered aged care providers, relevant information may be shared with those providers to support care planning, service delivery, safety, communication, reporting and quality requirements.
