Qarah Care provides practical in-home aged care supports in collaboration with registered aged care providers.

Our services are designed to help older people remain safe, confident and independent at home, while staying connected with their community. Supports are delivered based on each client’s needs, preferences, care arrangements, safety considerations, provider requirements and operational capacity.

Personal Care

We provide respectful personal care support that promotes dignity, privacy and independence.

This may include:

• Showering and dressing support

• Grooming and personal presentation

• Mobility support around the home

• Assistance with daily routines

• Support with safe daily living activities

In-Home Supports and Domestic Assistance

We assist with everyday household tasks that help clients maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment.

This may include:

• Domestic assistance

• Light household tasks

• Laundry and linen changes

• Meal preparation

• Daily living supports

• Support with routines around the home

Community Access and Participation

We support clients to stay connected with their community and participate in meaningful activities.

This may include:

• Community access

• Social support

• Shopping assistance

• Support to attend appointments

• Assistance with community activities

• Support to maintain social and family connections

Transport

We can provide transport support where this forms part of the client’s agreed care arrangements.

This may include:

• Transport to appointments

• Transport for shopping

• Transport to community activities

• Transport for social participation

• Assistance getting to and from services

Medication Support

Qarah Care can provide support with medication administration where this is included in the client’s agreed care arrangements and can be delivered safely.

Medication support is provided in line with provider requirements, care plans, worker training, competency, documentation and relevant policies and procedures.

Community Nursing

Where required and agreed, Qarah Care can provide community nursing support through appropriately qualified nursing staff.

Community nursing services are delivered in accordance with clinical requirements, provider directions, care plans, professional scope of practice and relevant safety requirements.

Home and Garden Support

We can assist with practical home and outdoor maintenance tasks to help clients maintain a safe and suitable home environment.

This may include:

• Gardening

• Yard maintenance

• Household maintenance

• Window cleaning

• Gutter cleaning

These services are provided where they are safe, suitable, agreed, within scope and able to be delivered by appropriately skilled workers or contractors.

How Services Are Delivered

Our services are delivered with respect, consistency and responsiveness. We work alongside clients, families, representatives, care partners and registered aged care providers to ensure supports are practical, appropriate and aligned with each person’s needs and preferences.

Services are provided based on agreed care arrangements, provider requirements, worker capability, qualifications, risk assessment, equipment requirements, insurance coverage and operational capacity.

Qarah Care currently provides services in Metropolitan Adelaide, South Australia.

Services outside this area may be considered based on client needs, suitability, risk, staffing capacity and operational readiness.
